Our FINAL Wednesday Practices are:  October 23rd and October 30th

Pitchers and Catchers:  4pm

All Team Practice:  5pm - 6:30pm

Where:  Carmel Middle School

Extra Hitting:  Show up early for extra hitting practice


***The opportunity to be together as a team for three total practices before our final tournament on November 2nd and 3rd is essential!  Please arrive on time, suited up with cleats on, and ready to practice!  If possible, we are striving for 100% total attendance for all three practices.

"Saturday only. All costumes must have a number on the back. For the number you may use paint, tape, or felt maker, etc. Faces may be painted.

 

On Sunday teams must wear their regular uniform. Awards will be given out."

Mavericks 14s Player Arrival for Saturday, October 12th:
Alta Vista @ 9:00am

Game 1: 10:30am
Game 2:  1:45pm
Game 3:  3:15pm

Parking is available at the school and along the street.  There is a full service snack shack located next to the fields.  There will be one set of bathrooms open adjacent to the snack shack.  Bleacher seating is available for some of the fields.

Please be respectful of the neighbors when parking and warming up per request.

BEACH BONFIRE

Please Join us for a Mavericks Beach Bonfire!

When:  Friday, October 4th
Where:  13th Beach in Carmel
Who:  Mavericks players and families
Time:  6pm - ?
What:  Potluck style Gathering

SEPTEMBER SMASH TOURNAMENT

Our next tournament is the September Smash Tournament at the Salinas Sports Complex on September 28th and 29th.  Keep your eyes peeled for your Evite in your email inboxes to let us know if you will be there.

Our next practice before the tournament weekend is on Wednesday, September 25th.

Pitchers and catchers please arrive at 4pm to throw a bullpen.


Team practice is at the regular scheduled time:  5:00pm - 6:30pm

We are looking forward to having everyone there to get in this important practice before the tournament.

Maverick Families,

 

Maverick warm-up jackets and hats for the girls and parents will be available for a "Last-Chance Order" for anyone who would like the opportunity to purchase one.

 

Please check your email, fill out the order form, and send it to practice with your daughter on Wednesday, September 18th.  

 

The jackets and/or hats will be here in time for the next tournament!

Thank You Thank You Thank You

We had so much fun this weekend and couldn't be more proud of the Mavericks! 

The girls worked hard all weekend, and we learned a lot about ourselves as a team.  Thank you so much to all of the parents who were able to come out and spend the weekend in the sun supporting the girls!  In addition, thank you to Erik, Kat's dad and Ashely, Jennifer's mom for bringing out snacks and water.

We would also like to send out a special thank you to Austin's family for purchasing each of the coaches their own coaching rocker!
