SEPTEMBER SMASH TOURNAMENT

Our next tournament is the September Smash Tournament at the Salinas Sports Complex on September 28th and 29th.  Keep your eyes peeled for your Evite in your email inboxes to let us know if you will be there.

Our next practice before the tournament weekend is on Wednesday, September 25th.

Pitchers and catchers please arrive at 4pm to throw a bullpen.


Team practice is at the regular scheduled time:  5:00pm - 6:30pm

We are looking forward to having everyone there to get in this important practice before the tournament.

Maverick warm-up jackets and hats for the girls and parents will be available for a "Last-Chance Order" for anyone who would like the opportunity to purchase one.

 

Please check your email, fill out the order form, and send it to practice with your daughter on Wednesday, September 18th.  

 

The jackets and/or hats will be here in time for the next tournament!

We had so much fun this weekend and couldn't be more proud of the Mavericks! 

The girls worked hard all weekend, and we learned a lot about ourselves as a team.  Thank you so much to all of the parents who were able to come out and spend the weekend in the sun supporting the girls!  In addition, thank you to Erik, Kat's dad and Ashely, Jennifer's mom for bringing out snacks and water.

We would also like to send out a special thank you to Austin's family for purchasing each of the coaches their own coaching rocker!

SATURDAY SCHEDULE:

ALL MAVERICKS 14s ARRIVE AT THE SALINAS SPORTS COMPLEX AT 9:45AM sharp.

GAME 1 11AM

Fall Kick Off Tournament & Snacks!

Hi Parents!

We are looking for a couple of volunteer families to plan snacks for the Fall Kick Off Tournament this weekend.  Ideally, we would like to alternate families.  There are only 5 tournaments, but ten days worth of ball games.  If we had two families sign up per weekend, we could be fully covered.

In the dugout we would like to have:

1. water
2. dried fruit and nuts
3. fresh fruit

Let's make this a great and comfortable weekend for the girls! 

Don't forget to pack your daughter with some sunscrean!

We are looking forward to a fun packed weekend!
